I had a pleasure to be speaker and attendee on the Quality Excites Conference. The conference took place last Saturday in Gliwice on the 24th of June, 2017. That’s was a very hot day with a very cool atmosphere during the event. The conference attracted people excited by software quality. We could meet both quality experts and also those attendees who became more aware of software quality after the conference.
This is a brief summary of the J On The Beach conference. The conference’s organizers say: J On The Beach is an international rendezvous for developers and DevOps around big data technologies. A fun conference to learn and share the latest experiences related to topics like distributed systems, IoT projects, Big Data Architectures and, the most important part, it’s On The Beach!. They delivered what they promised. There was fun and a opportunity to learn something new.
I’d like to shortly summarize here the Spring IO 16 Conference. I attended the conference last week together with my colleagues from work. This was my second time on the Spring IO Conference. In general I’d say this edition was quite similar to the previous one.
I had an opportunity to participate in the Spring I/O 2015 conference in Barcelona . I was there with some guys from my work. This was a 2-day conference. The event was mainly focused on spring-related products. It was expected Organizers say about it 2 days full of Spring, Groovy, Grails and Cloud. In general, opinions expressed in this post are based on my observations of facts and presentations which I saw. I can say that the atmosphere was good enough. My general feeling is positive. We should take into account the duration, organization, purpose and price in order to evaluate the event.
In this week I attended together with guys form hybris the 33rd Degree conference. It was the fourth edition and took place in Kraków. The venue was multikino building. These were pretty hot days. The temperature outside was over 30 degrees, the 33 degrees were reached for sure Inside multikino, rooms were air-conditioned. The sessions were delivered inside whereas lunches and beer were served in a tent which was next to the building. In addition to that every participant got a 7” tablet.
I had a great opportunity to attend together with guys from hybris the QCon London Conference 2014 . The conference took 3 days. The venue of this event was The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. We were accommodated in H10 London Waterloo Hotel which was 2km walk from to get to the conference center. My general impression regarding the conference as a whole is definitely positive.
