This post is a short overview of the Four day workshop about Spring Web. The full name of this course is Building Enterprise Web Applications using Spring MVC. I participated in the course this week. This is the latest version of the course. An exam aligned to this edition should be available soon.
WebML which stands for Web Modeling Language is a language elaborated to support designing data-intensive web solutions. There is given in this post a quick introduction to this modeling language with an investigation to incorporate it into web projects. Some web solutions may suffer from lack of incomplete requirements definitions missed in a design stage which can finally lead to burden maintenance. WebML is shown here as a comprehensive tool that helps avoid incomplete requirements collection, incorrect estimation during design time and offers dedicated models facilitating implementation. The text considers it all for medium and large size projects.
